Create Zine is a unique independent self-promotional marketing tool that showcases some of the best creative talents in global art, craft, design, direction, illustration and printmaking.
The printed zine is aimed at the UK commissioning industry, sent free to targeted art buyers/producers, creative directors, designers and publishers. We have a tremendous passion for image-making and scout the globe for the best talent, vetting hundreds of portfolios. During our careers working with and representing artists and designers, we've noticed that many image-makers find self-promotion and marketing frustrating. With so many online platforms and direct access to commissioning creatives limited, it can be difficult to get seen. Create Zine is a clear path to those who commission, landing right on their desks, commanding attention.
The point of the zine is not just an investment for artists to raise their profile but also a resource of inspiration to its audience, the art producer and director. We’re excited about the talent that we showcase, and so are they. You can learn about what our audience has to say in What They Say.

Having spent eight years working for the Central Illustration Agency as senior agent Jules decided it was time to cut the apron strings and realise her dream of launching her own agency. Jules Beazley Represents was an exciting journey that enabled her to handpick who she felt was the best of the best to represent. She had the privilege of working on many exciting projects with her artists, everything from an advertising campaign for Cadbury, packaging for various well-known products, album covers, book jackets to the iconic Christmas stamps for the Royal Mail with Andrew Bannecker. Becoming a Mother meant that she had to put the agency on hold temporarily; it was during this time that she came up with the idea of Create-Zine. Exciting times ahead!
Alicja is a freelance writer and consultant across the creative, design and hospitality industries. Having spent eight years working for the Central Illustration Agency marketing image-makers, artists and illustrators with various off and online events and happenings she naturally migrated to a world of writing. As the editor-at-large of We Heart magazine and contributor to various other lifestyle publications her expertise lies in art, design, food, travel and craft. A lover of all things image led, she has travelled extensively meeting makers, creators and designers gaining invaluable insight into the world of creativity. With a BA in advertising, and over five years professional writing experience, she is constantly on the look out for new talent and boundary breaking innovators across the visual arts.
